Privacy Policy for GridStorage

GridStorage is designed with absolute privacy in mind. The app operates as an interface for a local database or a user-hosted Enterprise Node. We (the developers) do not collect, transmit, store, or have access to any of your inventory data, personal information, or credentials.

To function correctly, the app requests the following device permissions:

• Camera: Used strictly locally to scan barcodes and QR codes, and to take pictures of inventory items. Images are stored entirely on your device or your self-hosted server.
• NFC: Used strictly locally to read and write data to NFC tags for inventory tracking.

If you choose to connect the app to your own self-hosted server (Enterprise Node), all data transmission occurs exclusively between your device and your configured server. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs that harvest your data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
